iPhone 18 Pro Camera Tools: Pin Them and Use Manual Focus

iOS 27 lets you pin camera tools above the viewfinder, and iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo add a manual Focus tool. Steps from Apple's iPhone User Guide.

1. Pin your favorite tools

In Camera, tap the tools control (the arrow), then Edit, and choose the tools to keep above the frame.

Camera › tools arrow › Edit

2. Focus manually (18 Pro and Duo)

Tap the tools control, tap Focus, optionally choose Ultra Wide, Main or Telephoto, then drag the slider. Tap A to go back to autofocus.

Camera › tools › Focus

3. Track a moving subject

Tap the subject so a yellow frame appears, then double-tap the frame. Tap Focus Tracking to stop.

4. Keep your exposure setting

Turn on Exposure Adjustment so it isn't reset next time.

Settings › Camera › Preserve Settings › Exposure Adjustment

5. What else is new on 18 Pro

Apple lists a variable aperture on the 48MP Fusion Main camera, pro controls for shutter speed, white balance and aperture with a histogram, and Photographic Styles with texture and grain.
