How to set up Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts via the Settings app

Adding your Google account to your iPhone you’ll want to launch the Settings app from your Home screen > Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Tap Add Account > Tap Gmail > Google’s authenticator screen will pop open, where you can enter your email address and password > Tap Allow when prompted with the “iOS would like to…” screen > Choose which services you’d like to sync: Mail, DO NOT SYNC Contacts, Calendars, & Notes > Tap Save.

Save your account >  Final step >Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Tap the account we just added > Tap the Account Button > Change Description to TTISI  Mail.
