Share one window (not your whole screen) and record the meeting with a transcript.

Share a window

In the meeting click Share > pick a window, not the whole screen, so notifications stay private. Turn on Include sound for videos.

Share > Window > Include sound

Stop sharing

Click Stop sharing in the meeting toolbar.

Record

More (…) > Record and transcribe > Start recording. Everyone is notified.

More > Record and transcribe > Start recording

Find the recording

It appears in the meeting chat and is saved to OneDrive or SharePoint.

FAQ

Record button greyed out?

Your organization may have disabled recording, or you're a guest. Ask your IT admin.

Can I share just a PowerPoint?

Yes: Share > PowerPoint Live, which lets attendees see slides without your desktop.
